Program Coordinator, LGBT Center, Duke University

Here is the Center website.  Here is Duke's anti-discrimination policy.  It was not difficult to find.

The university also makes good faith efforts to recruit, employ and promote qualified minorities, women, individuals with disabilities, and veterans. It admits qualified students to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students.

The University reasonably accommodates qualified individuals with disabilities under the law.
There are courses listed on LGBT cinema and there are news stories about LGBT alumni, but no LGBT Center.  USF does not seem to be a member of the Consortium for Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals.

Assistant/Associate Professor, Open Faculty Search, School of Teaching & Learning, Ohio State University

Ohio State University includes sexual orientation and gender identity in its non-discrimination statement.  In addition, there are several AERA colleagues at OSU and others in the state.  Ohio limits marriage to one man, one woman.

Director of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Center, Ohio University, Athens, OH

Ohio University includes sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression in its non-discrimination statement.  The LGBT Center is well-established.  They want more experience than I currently have; but this position has a focus on teaching and curricular development that you don't find in some of these positions.

Welcome to my new blog!

It is time for me to start considering "real" jobs in academia.  Therefore, I will post here at least once a week (usually on Wednesday) academic jobs that I find interesting.
